三個愛好音樂得新加坡青年 --- 潔文, 可為和傳義 --- 在2005年頭的某月某天,坐在咖啡廳里,心血來潮地聊起對自己將來的音樂夢想‧‧‧
發現三個人之間的專長能夠形成互補的作用… 潔文擅於寫祠、設計網站； 可為熱愛歌唱；而傳義又是全職自由音樂人，擅於作曲、編曲及製作，在家里并有設備齊全的錄音室…！
這三塊拚圖，就這樣巧妙的拚湊出ProjectDIY，三者當中，缺一不可。
我們只想借助網絡的力量，与網民分享自己的創作。不需要耗資本的宣傳企劃，也不需要唱片公司的代表 ― 簡簡單單地呈獻自己的音樂，只希望對音樂的熱忱可以感動大家。

ProjectDIY is the brainchild of 3 Singaporeans - Dayvid(符傳義), Kewei(郑可为) and Anne(何洁雯), the following is a small description of how things got together...
In early 2005, two friends whom Dayvid describes as "know for some time but never talk kind" decided to get together....... to make music lah! This is none other than Dayv himself and Kewei.
Both of them, who have been playing music for quite a while (Dayvid songwriting, arranging and production whereas Kewei has been singing, performing, writing, modelling, etc...), felt that they were rather sick of being stagnant and decided to do something about it. Dayvid remembered hearing this girl with the 'rare beautiful voice coming from the mountains' sometime back and hence, he called Kewei up and asked if she wanted to get something going. With her "ever-the more" enthusiasm for music and fun, she agreed and thus, a new musical friendship was born.
But that's not all. Enter the mighty Anne. A girl who simply enjoys writing lyrics and designing websites. Without Anne, there will be no "projectdiy.net" nor will there be sweet chinese lyrics accompanying the songs Kewei sings.
